This splendid low lizard pauses to turn and stare, 10 turquoise dots march in shiny triangles along his back, his tale curls slightly as he hugs the ground.
Made from dark crimson pipestone with inlaid turquoise eyes,
he was hand carved
by Zuni artist Russell Shack.
He measures
1-1/16" high, a full 6-1/8" long, and 1-3/8" wide.
