Fine Zapotec Weaving Traditional & Southwestern Design Pillows, Rugs, and Wall-Hangings ~ Quality to last a lifetime ~
In the world-renowned Zapotec weaving village of Teotitlan Del Valle, Oaxaca, located in the southwestern part of Mexico, our textile artists transform the raw wool into one-of-a-kind works of art, just as their forefathers did centuries ago, using natural materials and traditional techniques to create beautiful rugs, pillow covers and wall-hangings you will be proud to own.
Carrying on the Zapotec Tradition of Fine Weaving
Naturally Dyed Using formulas passed down through generations, our all natural dyes are mixed by hand, giving the yarn wonderful variations in tonal quality. We also use the natural wool colors just as they come from the sheep.
Hand-spun Yarn Nothing has come between the fleece and human fingers, all the natural oils remain in the yarn giving it a rich texture and lasting durability.
Hand-crafted On the centuries-old hand loom, our highly skilled Master Weavers take our beautiful hand-spun wool and create these beautiful tightly woven rugs and pillow covers.
