About the Artist... An exquisitely stamped silver tea set and a handmade sterling silver stamped train have earned Sunshine "Best of Show" for two years at the Santa Fe Indian Market.
Born and raised in Twin Lakes, New Mexico on the Navajo Reservation, Sunshine started his art at the age of 24.
He learned his craft by watching his older brothers. He observed, he learned, and he decided to take silversmithing in a new direction. He now creates everything from letter openers, knives, pots, bowls, table settings to even kerosene lamps.
Sunshine says, "Most people have no idea how complex the process is to create these unique art forms."
As your fingers caress his elegant designs, you can see that every little detail of his creation is individually hand-stamped to mark its originality and finished to perfection.
