Tarahumara Green and White Sotol Basket
  
Lovely double walled basket made from strips of green Sotol (similar to Yucca) alternate
   with contrasting sun-bleached creamy white strips to create this unusually shaped
   basket that flows from white to green, skillfully woven by Tarahumara Indian women
   in Copper Canyon, Mexico. It measures 6 1/2” high and 5 1/4” across.

Miniature Pine Needle Basket from the Tarahumara Indians
  
Pale green long pine needles are expertly woven by Tarahumara Indian women to
   create the scalloped edge of this small basket, and interwoven with dark brown needles
   to form a herringbone pattern. This delightful miniature basket features the
   fragrance of the piney woods and measures only 1 3/4” high and 2 1/2” across.

Shallow Coiled Basket from the Seri Indians
  
Creamy sun-bleached and naturally dyed russet hand-coiled limberbush contrast
   harmoniously to feature two small animals in this appealing shallow basket, by the
   Seri Indian women of Desemboque, Sonora, Mexico. Looks great standing in a easel,
   hanging on the wall, or flat on a table. Measures 6 1/2” high, 5 7/8” across and 1” deep.

Rainbow Basket from the Embera Indians
   Colorfully dyed with the extracts of plant leaves, bark and mud, the fibers from wild
   palm trees were skillfully coiled to create this enchanting basket by the Indians in the
   Darien Rainforest of Central America. Measures 2 ” high, 2 1/4” across.

Covered Pineneedle Basket from the Tarahumara Indians
  
Long pine needles of tan, pale green, rust and dark brown are woven in a tight
   herringbone pattern, in this small covered basket from the Tarahumara Indians of
   Copper Canyon, Mexico. Open the basket to the fragrant aroma of piney woods. This
   square basket measures 3”x 3” across and is 2 1/2” high.
