Raspberries & Cream Mookaite Knife

Skillfully shaped raspberry & cream Mookaite blade was knapped by Lyle Moen and securely hafted to an antler handle with a hidden tang and epoxy by Arthela Cummings, who inset the Purpleheart wood oval in the pommel. The custom-designed stand supports the knife with a brass pin embedded in an amethyst-quartz open geode on a Purpleheart wood base.
The stand beautifully complements the knife and together
they make a superb display.
Blade alone is 3-1/4” Knife length is 8” over the curve
Stand is 6-1/4” long, 2-7/8” wide, 2-3/8” high.
The incredible color in this piece is natural. The Mookaite stone is from Australia and the Purpleheart wood is from South America.
