About the Artist... Aaron Brokeshoulder creates unique, one of a kind pieces that reflect the plains and pueblo culture. He uses each piece as a canvas in which to create in silver and other metals the stories from his parents and family.
As a silversmith who takes pride in his interpretation of every image, his work has become much more than adornment or decoration. It is his offering back to the creator for the power, heritage and the spirit of the first people of this nation.
He says, "...artwork is my way of keeping my ancestor's stories and visions alive, through the pieces I create." Three of his sterling silver miniature pots are in the permanent collection of the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
