This stunning sculpture delights the eye and the spirit.
As her face lifts to the eastern breeze, her eyes shine with expectation, her flowing hair sweeps back, and the delicate tracery of her necklaces glow in the sunrise.
Her gown is hand-patinaed, while the white shell and turquoise beads in her necklace are each individually hand painted by Cliff.
Originally crafted in stone by distinguished sculptor, Cliff Fragua, IACA Artist of the Year for 2005, it was cast in bronze by the lost wax method and is securely mounted on a walnut base and finished with felt on the bottom.
This piece measures 9" high including the 1-1/2" high base. The bronze sculpture is 5-3/8" wide and 1 5/16" deep at it's maximum points. The base is 2-3/4" wide and 3-1/2" deep.
