This captivating sculptured set of a mother and her two daughters baking bread using the horno, a traditional Zuni bread oven is lovingly depicted. With figures in Picasso Marble and the oven in Soapstone, it delights the eye with enchanting details like the bundled wood at the oven-door and the liberal use of turquoise and intricate little sunfaces to adorn the bakers. The rounded bread-dough is sculpted from Picasso Marble, while the tray one carries and the long-handled bread-paddle are carved from Mother of Pearl. Randy Lucio & Adrianne Halusewa have taken fetish carving to a new level with this finely crafted set - guaranteed to become a treasured heirloom. The oven measures 1-5/8” high, 1-3/8” wide and 5-5/16” deep. The Mother measures 1-3/4” high, 3/4” wide and 15/16” deep, paddle is 1-15/16” long Daughter kneading dough measures 1-3/4” high, 11/16” deep and 7/8” long.
