Leonel Lopez Sanez has created incredibly detailed carved scenes of the desert at twilight on this splendid hand-tooled pot.
The desert is depicted in red, with an active family of hunting bears, an eagle feeding its’ young, browsing bighorns, busy squirrels, the drama of a roadrunner confronting a rattlesnake, coyotes, and a wildcat seeking an evening meal, all interacting amidst remarkable desert plant life.
As with all Leonel’s best work, the more you look, the more you see.
