Three rows of wonderful whiskery rabbits - 21 in all - circle this burnished smooth white pot flecked with russet. The white clay is hand shaped, round and symmetrical, the black rabbits are hand-painted, then etched to emphasize outline and details, the opening finished with a scalloped collar of russet and black; all high quality hallmarks of the marvelous work of Master Mata Ortiz Artist: Roberto Banuelos, a featured artist in “The Many Faces of Mata Ortiz.” A photo of Roberto holding this pot in his studio in Mata Ortiz will complete this lovely addition to your collection.
