Mudhead & Paralyzed Katsina

This pair features a blind mudhead carrying a Tuuhavi  (Paralyzed Katsina) in "piggy-back" fashion. While one is blind,  the other can see, and while one is paralyzed the other can walk - thus they can help each other hunt and survive. The message here is that there is a role for everyone, no matter their condition.

The detail work here is exquisite; note the fine texturing of the fur cape over the shoulders of the hunter with his muscular arms and atrophied legs, as well as the drape of the mudhead's attire, and the wrinkle in the toes of his moccasins.

Masterfully created by Henry Fred, of Bacavi, Arizona (3rd Mesa) it measures 12-1/2" tall with base; base is 4" deep and 3-1/4" wide; figure is 4-3/4" deep and 4-3/8" wide.
